FAMILIES enjoyed sun, cider and a host of entertainment at the Brent Knoll summer fete on Saturday.
Crowds of people flocked to Brent Knoll Green where there was music, dancing, bargains at a range of stalls and family-friendly games.
Rain was expected, however, but the wet weather did not materialise and visitors enjoyed a dry afternoon.
Children performed traditional country-style dancing at the fete, which also saw performances from the U3A Ukulele Band and the Challice Morris Men.
There was a Second World War theme this year.
