KNOW a selfless volunteer who works hard to keep you safe? As part of Neighbourhood Watch Week, people are being encouraged to nominate those who help keep you safe for a Neighbourhood Policing Award.
The Neighbourhood Watch has existed for almost 30 years and has become one of the biggest voluntary organisations in the country.
The awards aim to recognise all that is great about local policing and Avon and Somerset Police and Crime Commissioner Sue Mountstevens is keen to ensure all are celebrated.
Ms Mountstevens said: “The dedication and commitment of all our policing volunteers across Avon and Somerset is inspiring.
“I thoroughly enjoy both meeting with many of them on my community days and hearing about the initiatives which are helping to keep local communities safe.
