A LONG-serving army cadet has been honoured by Burnham Rotary Club for his dedication to the forces.
Don Evans, past president of the Rotary Club, was awarded a Paul Harris Fellowship for his lifetime service in the Army Cadet Corps movement.
As a commissioned officer he rose to the rank of Colonel.
His service has spanned many decades in various parts of the United Kingdom, most recently in Somerset.
A Paul Harris Fellowship is the highest award in Rotary Great Britain & Ireland
