Fire crews called to traffic collision
Two fire appliances from Burnham and the Rescue Tender from Glastonbury were sent to a report of a road traffic collision at Harp Road, Mark, Highbridge.
The incident occured at 6:56pm on Wednesday August 19.
On arrival crews confirmed that the situation involved one car that was upside down in a water filled ditch with 2 people trapped inside.
They were were rescued from the vehicle using small tools, a triple extension ladder and water safety equipment.
Police and Ambulance crews also attended.
