THE family of a Woolavington man who died after his bike was in collision with a van have paid tribute to the “caring, loving young lad”.
Zak Pople, 21, was cycling on Bristol Road at Dunball just before 8am on August 4 when he was involved in the accident. He died five days later.
His brother-in-law Chris Trenfield and family described the accident as a sad, tragic loss.
They said: “Zak was a caring, loving young lad who had a bright future ahead of him. Zak will be missed by many who knew him and he will be forever in our hearts. Please can the family be left to grieve for the sad, tragic loss of a loving son, brother, uncle”.
Zak was a former student at Chilton Trinity School and Bridgwater College, where studied bricklaying.
The funeral is on Friday, August 28 at 12.30pm at St Mary’s Church, Bridgwater, followed by private interment.
Donations in lieu of flowers to Southmead Intensive Care Unit have been requested, via Bridgwater Funeral Services.
