THE people of Burnham and Highbridge rallied together on Friday November 13 to raise money for Children In Need.
Staff at Rob's Fish Bar in Highbridge have donated £683 to the charity and would like to thank everyone who helped out.
The staff dressed up as superheroes and raised £105 through sponsorship from their families.
A competition to guess what made Pudsey laugh out loud drew in £30, and £50 was raised through a cake sale, with cakes baked by the manager's mum, Claire Faulks.
Customers on the night donated £249 in a bucket collection, which was matched by owners, Rob and Kay.
Kay said: "I'd like to thank all the staff who made the effort to dress up and thanks to all the families and customers for their support."
The schools also got involved with the fancy dress, with youngsters from Mark Church of England VC First School, West Huntspill Primary School and Burnham Infants School all raising money.
