AS Storm Barney battered the South West coast last night with winds up to 75mph, it was a much calmer story in Burnham this morning.
The people of the sunny seaside town awoke to a brighter day, with winds reaching a more mild 22mph.
Despite still being a blustery day, residents and visitors were seen enjoying morning strolls across the beach.
The sun is shining, people have swept the leaves from their paths, and Storm Barney seems almost at bay.
