AN artist from Berrow is getting ready for his upcoming spring exhibition.

Malcolm Dormer is preparing for his gallery, titled Grand Slamb, at the Princess Art Cafe , in Princess Street, Burnham-on-Sea.

His exhibition features sheep themed tennis spectators from the various open worldwide tennis championships, including his French open contribution Love All.

Another painting features the Wimbledon and spectators from Australian and American Grand Slams.

Malcolm plans each painting for many hours, before starting to paint.

Hi painting time usually takes between six and eight weeks to complete.

He is also responsible for painting the murals on the Berrow bus shelters, and two of his huge masterpieces are hung at Berrow village hall, being a collection of Berrow scenes in post card style.

The exhibition in The Princess Arts Cafe is programmed from May 14 until June 4, taking in Burnham's food and drink festival on Saturday May 28.

Malcolm will be in attendance all day.
