FIRE: Police and fire crews tackle shed fire on Oxford Street in Burnham on Sea
POLICE and fire crews were called to a shed fire at a home in Burnham-on-Sea.
Two crews from the town were sent to the incident on Oxford Street at 1.49pm and found the shed well alight.
The fire spread to an additional lean to and crews were advised that there was an LPG cylinder and a Helium cylinder within the shed.
The cylinders were removed to the open air and cooled and the fire was extinguished using one hose reel, one covering jet and two breathing apparatus.
The incident was left in the hands of the police.
