RNLI Lifeboats launch late-night missing person's search
THE RNLI in Burnham-on-Sea was called to a missing person’s search late last night.
Both lifeboats were launched after being paged at 10.23pm to assist emergency services in the search.
The crew searched the coastline and sea before being stood down shortly after when the missing person was found safe and well.
Both lifeboats were returned to station for wash-down, and refuelling for the next potential service.
