IN preparation for the upcoming Burnham-on-Sea Food and Drink Festival, organisers have released the line-up of demo chefs.

The demonstrations run from 10:30am until 4pm on May 28, the day of the event.

Simon Dyer is a local farmer and winner of ITV's BBQ Champ 2015.

He said: "I've been cooking BBQ since I was old enough to be trusted with matches."

John Gower is the man behind Quiet Water’s Smoke and Fire, which is the catering element of the small farm which produces sauce and marinade.

The products are supplied across the country at events, retail exhibitions and many restaurants.

He has specialised in a style of cooking he terms as rustic fine dining, drawing on fire based cooking cultures around the world.

Marcus Bawdon is the editor of UK BBQ Mag, a BBQ blogger at CountryWoodSmoke and BBQ demo chef.

He is passionate about all things outdoor cooking, BBQ, smoking and Wood Fired.

Marcus demoed at the May 2015 festival.

Ben Forte is the creator of The Great British BBQ Off and also an editor for UK BBQ Mag, plus a host on the UnitedQ Podcast, the UKs number one BBQ Podcast.

Nick Webley, the final demo chef, said: "I have cooked over fire for many summers, but I am still learning how to perfect the trick of pulling the food away from the heat to get the flavour mix of smoke, sweet char and moist lusciousness just before it burns to cinders."
