YOU certainly won't be needing a coat today, as July 19 is set to be the hottest day on record this year so far.
Temperatures are expecting to reach a sizzling 32C today across Somerset, with bright sun all day.
A Met Office forecaster said: "A very warm or hot day with largely clear skies and light southerly winds.
"Some patchy high cloud will arrive from the west towards the evening."
And the temperatures would remain high overnight, he added.
"A very warm and humid night, especially further east.
"It will be largely dry, but turn cloudier towards the morning."
