THREE men ram-raided a store in Burnham-on-Sea and made off with a large quantity of stock during an early morning robbery.
Avon and Somerset Police say men reversed a car into the Superdrug Store on Burnham's High Street at around 2am yesterday morning (October 3).
A spokesperson added: “At around 2am on Monday, a black or dark coloured Mazda was reversed into the front doors of Superdrug in High Street, Burnham-on-Sea.
“Three men entered the store and stole a large quantity of fragrances.
“An investigation is under way and we’re progressing a number of actions including reviewing CCTV footage and carrying out forensic enquiries at the scene.
“We’re appealing for anyone who saw this incident to come forward, as well as anyone who knows of a black or dark coloured Mazda which has suffered damage to its rear."
A spokesman for Superdrug said: "On Monday 3rd October our Burnham-on-Sea store experienced a break in.
"We are working closely with the Police with their investigation."
