SEDGEMOOR District Council have nominated Apex Park for a prestigious award.
The park, located in Burnham-on-Sea, has been nominated for 'best park' by the council as part of the 2016 Fields in Trust awards.
The awards recognise and reward the efforts and achievements of Fields in Trust sites and those who work on and for them to make them the best they can be.
Nominations for this year's awards are now open so that residents can vote for their local park.
The closing date for nominations will be on October 23.
