A FLOOD alert is in place for Minehead and Burnham-on-Sea for tomorrow.
High tides are expected along the coastline this evening, and the flood alerts are expected to remain in force until Wednesday.
An Environment Agency spokesman said: "We are in a period of high spring tides which will peak this evening.
"We will be re-issuing this flood alert which is likely to remain in force until Wednesday. The time of the first forecast high water is 8.30pm.
"The forecast tide level is 7.02m AOD. The forecast wind strength and direction is Force 4 West South Westerly.
"The time and date of the second forecast high water is 9pm on October 18. The forecast tide level is 6.82 m AOD. The forecast wind strength and direction is Force 6 North Westerly."
The high water time refers to the level at Hinkley Point.
