PUPILS at primary schools across the Burnham and Highbridge area helped raise money for charity this week.
At Brent Knoll Primary School all the children and staff dressed up for the day and collected £150 for Children in Need.
Meanwhile Churchfield School in Burnham also spent the day in non-uniform fundraising just short of £400 for Pudsey and Children in Need.
At East Huntspill Primary the pupils were asked to wear something spotty for Children in Need, and raised £65 with their spot-tacular efforts.
The Children in Need appeal was a big success across the UK this year with a record-breaking £4.6m raised for the charity.
West Huntspill Primary School held a 'Onesie Wednesday' and a cake sale and raised £205 for The Lilly Foundation.
The Lilly Foundation is a charity who aims to give help and support to children and their families who face the challenges of Mitochondrial Disease.
