BOOST: Burnham Area Rescue Boat received a boost this week as they were selected to receive community funding from the Co-op.
BURNHAM Area Rescue Boat (BARB) has been selected to receive community funding from the Co-op Local Community fund.
The fund gives money to groups across the UK and is funded by Co-op members. Each time a member shops at a Co-op store one per cent of what they spend on Co-op products and services goes to the Local Community fund.
A spokesman for BARB said: “We will get a contribution towards our lifesaving work. But we need your help, the more support we get, the more funding we could receive.”
