BURNHAM firefighters were called out last night (Tuesday, March 14) to deal with a chimney fire in Berrow.
The incident happened shortly after 8pm on Rosetree Paddock, Berrow.
A spokesman for Devon and Somerset Fire and Rescue said: "On arrival crews confirmed there was a fire in a wood burning stove and got to work extinguishing the fire using chimney gear from the chimney stack and hearth using a triple extension ladder and thermal imaging camera."
Crews confirmed the fire was out at 10.15pm and duty of care was left with the occupier.
