A MOTORCYCLIST who died after a fatal collision in Edingworth has been named.

Eamonn Pople, 61 and from Bridgwater, died on April 1 after his motorcycle collided with a Ford Fiesta.

His son Lance Pople gave a tribute on behalf of the family: "Very much loved husband, father and grandad, it doesn't seem real and it's strange your not around.

"We know it's true and you certainly will never be forgotten. This is not goodbye as you will forever be in our hearts and minds. All our love, your loving wife, your children and your grandchildren, love always until we meet again."

The incident happened at around 2.40pm, an inquest heard.

Police are appealing for witnesses of the incident to come forward.

A spokesman for Avon and Somerset Police, said:”We’re appealing for witnesses following a fatal collision in Edingworth on April 1.

“The collision took place on the A370 Weston Road at approximately 2.40pm.

“A motorbike collided with a Ford Fiesta.

“Sadly, the motorcyclist, a man in his 60’s, died as a result of the injuries he sustained.”
