NEW SECURITY shutters could be installed at a popular Burnham-on-Sea beauty store following a spate of burglaries at the shop.
The store, on High Street in Burnham-on-Sea has been attacked by thieves four times in the space of just two months sparking concerns for the store’s security.
A spokesman from Boots has confirmed that representatives from Boots have been in talks with staff at the store about plans to install new steel shutters to the outside of the store in a bid to prevent break-in’s.
“Staff at Boots in Burnham-on-Sea have given us information about a recent spate of break-ins at the store.
“We are currently reviewing the security measures for the store and are currently considering plans for new security shutters to be installed at the store.”
