ONE person has been rushed to hospital after a fire in Burnham-on-Sea.
Emergency services were called to Willis Court in Marine Drive at around 2.30pm this afternoon (June 14).
The fire service were called to reports of a fire in bathroom.
Fire control sent two engines from Burnham and Bridgwater to attend the incident.
Upon arrival crews confirmed the fire was out and crews on scene returned the on-coming engines from Bridgwater, as they were not required.
Crews on scene confirmed the cause of the fire is believe to be a candle which was against combustible materials.
One casualty was treated at scene by paramedics and taken to hospital as a precautionary measure.
The property received 30 per cent damage to bathroom and 10 per cent smoke damage to rest of property.
