A SUPER slimmer is taking her weight loss to a new level by trying to lose 25lbs for charity.

Tracey Bagg, from Burnham-on-Sea, has already lost nearly four stone since January 2016 through Slimming World and said after her weight loss success, she felt inspired to do a sponsored slim to raise money for two town charities.

“I decided to do this as I felt it would be a good way to raise money and continue on my weight loss journey,” she said.

“I was at my weekly weigh in at my Slimming World group in Berrow and it just came into my head that I could do a sponsored slim.

“I am aiming to lose between 18 and 25lbs in the next six weeks which is a tough challenge as I will have to lose 4lbs per week but I am determined to do it.”

The dedicated slimmer has already started shifting the pounds in time for her final weigh in on September 25.

And Tracey said she hopes to raise a lot of money for her two chosen charities; Hands of Change and In Charley’s Memory, which she says are close to her heart.

“When I decided to do this I knew I wanted to raise money for In Charley’s Memory because I know Charley’s mum, Jo, and I really admire all of the work they do with young people,” she said.

“I also know Kay Barrett from Hands of Change well and felt it right to support them as they do so much for the community.

“I know this is a big challenge to set myself but if I could lose even 20lbs and raise a good amount of money for the charities, I will be happy.

“My new Slimming World consultant, Chrissie Toleman will be helping me through the process and I am going to try my best to lose the weight.”

Tracey will be logging her progress online via the Hands of Change Facebook page and through notices at The Victoria Hotel in Burnham.
