MORE than 50 families braved wet and windy weather to enjoy a family fun day in Apex Park.
On July 26, a range of stallholders attended the event from businesses and charities, including Hands of Change , Somerset Time for Youth as well as a range of activities including giant jenga, face painting and table tennis.
Claire Tough, assistant director of neighbourhoods at Homes in Sedgemoor, said: “We had a great time at our family fun afternoon at Apex Park, despite the wind and rain.
“This event was just one of the 14 community events we have held over the past week covering all our neighbourhoods.
“It has been fantastic to see so many of our customers out and about and spend time chatting to them.
“We have also had a huge amount of suppor t from our partners throughout the week, so thank you everyone wh o has been involved.”
