BENNETT Road in Highbridge is set to close for 14 days for sewage works.
Somerset County Council (SCC) has announced the road will be closed from September 18 to allow for the construction of new foul sewer manhole and to provide sewer connection from new development.
A spokesman for SCC said: "Every effort will be made to keep the duration of this closure to a minimum to reduce any further disruption."
