POWER has been restored to 73 Burnham homes following a power cut.
Nearly 1,100 homes were without power at 11.26am today which Weston Power Distribution has confirmed was due to a fault with the network.
A spokesman for WPD said: "1,096 homes were without power earlier this morning due to a network fault.
"Engineers managed to get around 70 per cent of customers' power restored within the hour but 325 homes remained without power until 12.30pm.

"Now only 73 homes are without power in the area and our engineers are going to connect those customers to another network by 1.30pm and then find out the route of the problem so they can carry out repairs.
