THE organiser of a children’s play group said it has been going from strength to strength as it celebrates its second birthday.
Lydia Buncombe started Little Adventurers in 2015 after enjoying messy play with her children at home.
“Messy Play is such a wonderful thing because it allows children to be creative from a young age,” Lydia said.
“I set up the group two years ago after seeing my children enjoy messy play so much – the only downside is the cleaning up.
“Having a background in children’s education really helped me so I set up the group in 2015 and it has just taken off.”
The group, based at Brean Play on Coast Road, takes place every Wednesday and Lydia said it has become increasingly popular over the last two years.
It has also been welcomed by local families.
She said: “We have had such positive feedback from parents who say their children have really enjoyed the sessions and want to come back. I hope the group continues to grow and thrive.”
