TWO cars were involved in a crash in Brent Knoll this morning.
Police and firefighters were called to the incident, in Bristol Road, at around 6.30am.
A fire crew from Burnham-on-Sea went to the scene, near the Fox and Goose pub, after a call from police, where one of the vehicles was reported to have smoke issuing from it.

"However, shortly after arriving and investigating it was confirmed that all persons were free and clear of both cars and there was no fire in either of the vehicles, but an airbag had deployed," a fire service spokesman said.
"We were only required to make both the vehicles and scene safe, before leaving duty of care with the police."
