TWO litter picks for at Apex Park have been cancelled due to poor weather conditions.
The clean up's were set to take place on Friday (March 2) between 10am and noon at Apex Park but a spokesman for Sedgemoor District Council (SDC) said organisers of the nationwide clean up have cancelled them due to the poor weather forecast.
The Friends of Burnham-on-Sea beach have also decided to cancel a clean up this weekend but say a rearranged date will be announced shortly.

A spokesman for Sedgemoor District Council, said: "Due to the weather forecast, SDC has been advised that two of the planned litter picks for the Great British Spring Clean have been cancelled.
"The good news is that Keep Britain Tidy have extended their dates for us to still litter-pick prior to the end of March.
"The rearranged date will be announced shortly."
