FIREFIGHTERS were called to a property in Burnham-on-Sea to tackle a chimney fire.
One fire engine from Burnham went to a property on Berrow Road at 4.36pm today (March 18) following reports of a chimney fire.
When they arrived crews got to work and immediately removed a register plate from the fire place and extinguished a fire in the register plate using chimney gear.
Once the crew had fully extinguished the fire and ensured property was made safe the care of property was handed back over to the occupants.
