FEEL the buzz with a free course teaching all things bees - an introduction to beekeeping is coming to Mark next month (January).
The Burnham division of the Somerset Beekeepers Association is holding six consecutive meetings from January 17 until February 21 at 7.30pm at Watchfield Village Hall.
Well-known bee lecturer Gerald Fisher, who also featured in last year's BBC programme One Man and his Bees, will be on hand to guide students.
The course will include an introduction to beekeeping, equipment to use, elementary biology behind bees, bee handling, honey production and troubleshooting.
For more information and a detailed programme contact either Christine Hare on 01934-750305, Rosemary Hawkins on 01278-783596, or Linda Perfect on 01278-786671.
