Kids get busy at Brent Knoll

THE fun never stops at Brent Knoll Primary School - as the Weekly News found out last week.

We sent our photographer Jeff Searle to take pictures of pupils taking part in various activities to help them be creative and learn.

His first stop was to photograph some pupils holding an international award won by the school, after the Government rewarded them for successfully completing the foundation stage of its Introducing Internationalism programme.

He then found some children finding out about the Second World War - looking at memorabilia, hats and equipment from the conflict.

But the action did not stop there. Pupils were also pictured making their own paintings in the style of famous English artist Lowry.

Kids were also creating and painting clay models and building their own model carnival carts.

Budding actors were also photographed by our snapper, as they acted out a medieval scene complete with costumes and scenery.
