Tania needs your votes in national beauty competition

A FORMER Rossholme School pupil needs your votes to progress in a national beauty competition.

Tania Prentice, 22, of Hawthorn Close in Bridgwater, is up against 20 other beauty queens from across the country in the Miss Fresh Photographic competition.

If Tania gets the most votes in her heat, she will progress to the semi-finals of the Miss England competition this June.

Tania now has her eyes set on a modelling career after being selected to compete in the competition.

She said: “I was spotted at the Clothes Show Live event and was asked if I wanted to sign up for the competition.

“It's exciting to be a part of the competition and I am nervous at the same time.

“I would be interested in a career in modelling and I think this competition could open doors for me. I would also like to travel and see the world.”

She added: “I have never done modelling before. I want to show girls you don't have to be stick thin to be a model, so vote for me!”

Her dad Bruce said: “I am very proud of her as it is something she wants to do.”
