BRENT Knoll Primary School pupils have been busy wrapping Christmas presents in aid of charity.
The children are taking part in the Family Shoebox Appeal, for children in need in Romania, Moldova, Albania, Bulgaria and Ukraine.
The event was organised by charity Samaritan’s Purse and the presents were taken to a drop-off point in Burnham.
School secretary Jean Fice: “The presents included pencils, crayons, sweets and soft toys. I think the children made 31 boxes in the end. It was an idea from the school council, for the children to give to those less fortunate than themselves at Christmas.”
