THESE students at King Alfred School in Highbridge have been hailed for their eco-friendliness.
The students have helped the school keep green by taking part in a switch-off fortnight and introducing recycling schemes.
Pupils were awarded the Silver Eco-Schools Award earlier this month for their efforts.
Next up, pupils are considering introducing food waste recycling to turn leftovers into compost to be used for the school campus in the New Year.
