YEAR Eight pupils from Hugh Sexey Middle School were awarded certificates for looking after their peers.
In the year assembly, the students who volunteered to become Peer Mediators were praised for offering advice children who were having problems.
The Peer Mediators undertook intensive training before going on duty in the playground.
They are also always available to help in resolving any situations arising in the playground.
