THE TEAM behind a competition run in Burnham to celebrate National Independent Retailers Month has announced a winner.
Participating traders pledged shopping vouchers worth £470 for the competition, which asked people to identify the logos of the town’s independent shops.
The winner was 12-year-old Cerys Thomas from Berrow, who was delighted upon receiving her prize from Town Crier Alistair Murray.
Burnham Town Team and the Chamber of Trade worked together to organise the competition in July and to get as many independent shops on board as possible.
