WALKERS are already using a section of path designed to open up access to the River Brue to Highbridge residents.
A section between Highbridge Quays and Station Walk was opened to the public as part of the River Brue footpath project earlier this month and the site has now been cleared of final construction materials and the grass has taken seed.
A spokesman for Sedgemoor District Council said: “We were delighted to see the path, designed by Sustrans, being used by residents.”
