WORK is free to start on the Highbridge Enterprise Centre - after Sedgemoor District Council approved a planning application.
As reported, the £1.2million centre on the Isleport Business Park has been backed with cash from Somerset County Council and central Government.
It will comprise two buildings - one for industrial businesses and the other for offices - on a greenfield site next to the household waste recycling centre, off Bennett Road.
The centre will house ten start-up businesses, who will get access to a business mentor and high-speed broadband.
The scheme could create the equivalent of 40 full-time jobs.
