PROSPECTIVE students and their families turned out in force last week as they came to view King Alfred School and to meet current students and staff at an open evening.
More than 320 families explored the school and saw the range of subjects on offer.
Head teacher Denise Hurr said: “There is a buzz around the school and the community with so many exciting things planned, excellent achievements and high ambitions for all our students.
“We were delighted so many people came to see us, and we are a true community school.”
