THE final running race in the Somerset Series will be held this weekend with the Brent Knoll Race.
The route starts at the BASC sports ground, taking in footpaths, bridleways and country roads to the summit of Brent Knoll and back again.
Last year, the run, at just under six miles, attracted over 150 runners and organiser Brian Beale hopes to achieve similar numbers again.
He said: “Preparations have gone well and we’ve actually got 55 pre-entry runners this year.”
