FIRE crews were called to a suspected gas leak in the early hours of this morning, Wednesday, February 11.
Three engines, including one with gas detecting equipment, attended the incident off Sealeys Close, West Huntspull, 35 minutes past midnight.
A person was led from the home for their own safety before crews isolated the gas supply.
Firefighters failed to detect any gas inside, but ventilated the property.
A Devon and Somerset Fire and Rescue Service spokesman said: "The leakage was due to a broken control on the gas fire."
