A cigarette has been blamed for a shed fire on Caxton Drive, Highbridge, yesterday.
A fire engine from Burnham was sent to a report of a shed on fire in a back garden, with the crew confirming that smoke was issuing from a wooden shed.
A spokesman said: "The fire was successfully extinguished using a hose reel jet. It was believed to have been caused by a carelessly discarded cigarette."
