ST MARGARET'S Hospice volunteer Mike Perrin raised hundreds of pounds by having his beard shaved off after completing his Santa duties for the year.
Joining him on the day was his granddaughter Kylie Perrin, 8, who took part by having her long locks chopped off and sent to the Princess Trust charity, who make wigs for children with cancer.
The event was held at the Francesco Hair Salon in Highbridge where Mike's other granddaughter Amy works.
The duo raised a brilliant £684 which included a £250 donation from hairdresser Fran Deeley.
Community fundraiser Julie Draper wanted to say a big thank you to the Perrin pair.
"I cannot express how proud I am of them both - a truly amazing family," Julie said.
"The money will go directly to helping St Margaret's make each day count for patients and their families facing a life-limiting illness.
