A HIGHBRIDGE woman would like to thanks the kind stranger who returned her handbag.
Mrs Tucker says she is 'very grateful' after she left her handbag on a pavement in Burnham and somebody found it and took it back to her house .
"About two weeks ago i was walking back from Tesco in Burnham and my grandson was playing me up," she said.
"I put my handbag down on the pavement to sort everything out, and promptly walked off without it.
"I got all the way back to where my grandson lives 20 minutes away before I realised, so we dashed back.
"I saw my husband driving towards me and he stopped and held up my bag.
"He said a gentleman had found it, looked at my address on my driving license and driven it all the way to my home in Highbridge.
"I can't thank this person enough- I am truly grateful."
