CRASH: Two people were taken to hospital following a crash on The Causeway in Mark on Tuesday evening
TWO people were taken to hospital following a crash on The Causeway in Mark.
Fire crews from Bridgwater and Burnham-on-Sea were called to assist ambulance crews as it was believed that people were trapped following the crash near Highbridge at 8.21pm last night.
Two people were freed by the fire crews from two vehicles by 9.11pm before equipment and the scene were made safe.
A spokesperson for South West Ambulance Service said: "We were called at around 8.15pm to a road traffic collision on Tghe Causeway near Mark.
"There were two cars involved and two casualties.
"Both sustained minor injuries, one was taken to Musgrove Park Hospital in Taunton and the other to Weston General in Weston-super-Mare.
