THE revamped Borough Mews In Wedmore hailed the success of its first Farmers Market held there last weekend.
Rex Gould took over the site which formerly belonged to TP of Sweden, a company which makes dental products but moved its office to Wells.
Mr Gould now leases the refurbished stores to Zante Wine from Wells, Burnham-based Victoria Scarlet interior design, Weston Hospice and an art gallery among others.
The new Farmers Market takes place on the second Saturday of every month and includes up to 14 stall holders.
Mr Gould said: “We want this to be an attraction that brings people into Wedmore so it is more of a destination village rather than somewhere they just drive through on their way to Burnham.
