THE sister of Laura Biss who died in a fatal hit-and-run in Highbridge has invited people across Somerset to share their favourite pictures of her on Facebook.
Calls have been made for people to share images of her ‘beautiful face’ on social media as friends and family members prepare to say their final goodbyes at her funeral today.
Her sister, Sarah, has posted on Facebook calling for people to ‘light up their profiles’ to remember the talented artist.
She said: "We say goodbye to my sister Laura Jayne Biss.
"Can I ask that in memory of how much Laura made us all laugh on Facebook that everyone changes their profile picture to there most favourite picture of Laura.
"Light your profiles up with her beautiful face and focus on how lovely she was so we do not think on the darkness that took her from us."
Laura, 34, was found dead on the B3139 Burnham Road in the early hours of Saturday, January 20.
Christopher Harris has been charged with her murder and will appear at Bristol Crown Court on March 2.
