YOUNG gymnasts from Monarch's Gymnastics Club celebrated their achievements at their annual presentation evening.

The talented gymnasts, their families and coaches met at the Oaktree Arena in Highbridge on February 10 for the event which was organised by the club's fundraising team and coaches.

Compere, Paul Shepherd and coach Leonie Warburton presented awards to a number of gymnasts after looking back on the success the club has had at major events throughout the year.

Erin Morgan and Harvey Crook took home the Neville Jones Trophies for the most outstanding gymnasts in the NDP group, which is for levels one to five at regional and national level.

A spokesman for Monarch's Gymnastics club, said: "It was an absolutely brilliant evening.

"Both of these gymnasts have worked extremely hard all year round and achieved more than would be expected of them.

"All of the awards were very well deserved."

  • Best Newcomer - Doris Fields
  • Most Improved Partnership - FIG Group - Toby Baker And Jack Hunt NDP Group - Rachel Medhurst and Naomi Lourenco
