A303 blocked between Giant's Grave and Newcott due to an accident
THE A303 is partially blocked between Giant's Grave (Marsh) and B3170 (Newcott) due to an accident involving one vehicle.
Police are warning motorists to approach with care.
Two fire appliances were mobilised from Honiton to help stabilise the vehicle so that a female casualty could be removed safely.
A spokesperson for Devon and Somerset Fire and Rescue said: "On arrival, the incident commander confirmed there was one car in a hedge which had left the carriageway with one female inside, not physically trapped.
"Crews stabilised the vehicle and helped the casualty from the car to the ambulance."
Traffic is flowing well as it passes the scene of the accident and there are no delays.
