ICY pavements are more likely to put older people off walking outside than potholes or speeding drivers.
Nearly three-fifths (57%) of people aged 65 or over who responded to a YouGov poll commissioned by Living Streets said icy pavements discouraged them from walking outside, with potholes, broken pavements and people driving too quickly further down the list.
